Ps Keith & Ps Peka Walters
Keith and Peka are from an evangelical Pentecostal background in New Zealand. Loving God and loving people has inspired them to live life to the full in Jesus and to share that fullness with others. 2009 found the call of God backed up with the a prophetic dream that lead them to what is now ‘Ignite Life Churches Inc.’ With multiple campuses in Australia and Uganda the journey so far has been an exhilarating adventure filled with joy, laughter, obstacles, potholes, sunny days, rainy days and here they now stand by the grace of God. The proud parents of four adult kids, Nana 'n Poppa to five grandsons, two grand daughters and by God their declaration is that “life is good!”

2024’s off to a rip roaring start with a new church plant in Deniliquin NSW gaining momentum, Cobram Campus growing stronger under the leadership of Ps Greg and Ps Caz and Gold Coast campus with Ps Rod and Ps Jeanette changing venue to Beenleigh with potential for even more good changes in the future. Uganda missions now with 9 x Ignite Life Campuses, the Ignite Bible College attached to Gweri Ignite Nursery & Primary School and 3 more Primary Schools attached to another 3 of our country churches. When you ask us what we do at Ignite Life Church you won’t get a job description; you’ll hear a tale. We are passionate about what we do and using our talents for God’s purposes and that’s why we’ve dedicated our lives and careers to serving God. Its not just a job, it’s a lifestyle as we have the privilege of leading people to become fully devoted followers of Jesus. As we do this we work hard at living in ‘wide open spaces’ where bold risk taking, epic generosity, authentic spiritual integrity and hearty laughter along the way is our ‘good and acceptable service’ as we honour God. Ignite Life Church is passionate about reaching into our communities, making a difference in everyday lives, being there in disasters and celebrating the successes together. Touching lives with the good news of Christ is a living process for us not just an event.
